here come the playas email time
its a new emails and tweets jingle! this one is in the style of some sort of dance club song, featuring craig ferguson on the turntables and geoff in a wig! it starts with that oh so familiar tune we have come to love from when craig and geoff go out to the clubs at night: 'here come the playas! they're so fine!' the crazy neon lights and strange costumes definitely give this clip a rave party feel to it. it may not be one of their better ones, but its nice to see them still making new jingles!
beach tweet mail
craig ferguson rolled out another new tweet mail jingle on the late late show. he always has different jingles to introduce the tweets and email section of his show, with each jingle done in some different style. the latest song is done in the style of a 60's beach party! it is filled with archive footage of different people surfing and playing on the beach, but with one major difference: everyone's head is replaced with craig's over sized head! not one of his best, it lacks a really catchy tune, but its nice to see a new one thrown in to the rotation.
super tweety
craig ferguson and geoff peterson are back at it with a new email and tweet song! this time the jingle is in the style of rick james and seems to be a play on his hit 'super freak'. craig, clad in a goofy wig and mustache, rocks out the leopard print jacket, plays with some sort of fish for some reason, and tries to have his way with geoff in drag! of course, each version of the tweets jingle must have 'ass mode' in it, this time it is in the form of huge rings craig wears! they do a great job of getting the 70's rick james style, complete with cheesy effects and everything!
beatles tweet
criag ferguson finally introduces a new email and twitter jingle- this one is in the style of 60's pop, borrowing heavily from the beatles look and sound. its in black and white and features craig as all four of the moptoped musicians! the big haired singer on guitar, a backup singer on the bass, a pipe smoking keyboardist, and the drummer with a massive handle bar mustache- all played by craig! after the song craig comments 'i look forward to your tweets and emails that say 'no one in the beatles smoked a pipe!' thats right because it wasnt the beatles was it?!?'
cbs twitter contest
hey, want to win a useless silver sharpie? well you are in luck!'i'm in a conundrum', craig ferguson confesses, 'i'm in a quandry, i'm having something of a dilemma. heres the thing, geoff and i like to play this game before the show with the audience, we say 'cbs' and then we make up things that cbs could stand for. and i just made up a really rude one! they said 'you better not say that on the air!' and i thought 'oh no!' so i thought the thing we should do is have a competition! what to do is go on the tweety or send me an email and write 'cbs' and put what you think it stands for. and the best one will win cbs! i've just heard that cbs cannot offer itself up as a prize, legally. but the prize you will win...' craig goes back to his desk to find something to offer as a prize, 'this lovely thing'. once he realizes its a retractable pointer pen, he says 'oh, its for pointing! no, thats too awesome, you cant have this!' then craig puts it back and grabs something else. he grabs a silver sharpie. 'i will give you this lovely silver nonspecific pen. so, just write in with your best ideas for what 'cbs' stands for. the best one, the one we like will win this pen!'
if you have some 'cbs' ideas, then sent him a comment on his twitter here, or email him at the show here!
tweet cheer
always with the ass mode! craig ferguson introduced another new tweets and email jingle to the show. this time it is in the style of a sort of 70's rock song that would be featured in a half time show at a sports event (think 'we will rock you'). there is also something in the lyrics about making love with his feet? man, these things keep getting weirder and weirder...
new wave tweets
tweet hair band
graig ferguson shared a new tweets and email time song! this particular jingle was in the theme of an 80's hair band! geoff going along for the ride as craig, with an amazing mullet wig and head band, rocks out on the keytar! craig's response to the new video: 'yeah! i'm sorry, can you handle so much awesome?!? fire shooting out of a keytar? take that, al quida!'
twitter attack!
watch out- its a new twitter and email song! this time they didnt go for any particular music style, in stead they went with a theme: its godzilla attacking! this song includes many clips of japanese people screaming and running, and also a bunch of giant creatures wreaking havoc on the buildings around them.

check the tweets
a new twitter and email jingle! the theme for craig ferguson's twitter songs is always littered with robot skeletons, and this one is no exception. again, it has a very david bowie feel to it, it even features a triceratops with lazer eyes! it cant get much better than that! usually after the song craig complains about how stupid the song is, but this time he said 'thats ah... thats pretty good actually! thats going to look out of place with the rest of the show, isnt it?'
tweet mail
after all the talk from craig ferguson about how he would never join twitter, he has certainly come around! not only does he reference it often, giving his twitter account name all over the place (if you want to follow him, check the link to the right!), but now he has also incorporated it into his nightly reading of the emails!a while back craig had a bunch of email jingles (which you can learn more about here) that played right before he would read them. he seemed to grow tired of them and retired the jingles for a while, but now hes back at it, this time he has a twitter jingle! he always refers to his twitter followers as his robot skeleton army who live with him in a hollowed out volcano, so the jingle itself is very robotic sounding and features an animated robot army descending from a volcano! its outrageously catchy!
email magic
email christmas
another new jingle was added to the collection of clips that preceded craig ferguson's reading of the email. this time it is a seasonal jingle for christmas time. this time the guy who plays 'john tesh' in the 'access extratainment tonight' sketches is dressed up like an elf and sings a little diddy about christmas emails.
email ganja
as far as email time jingles go, the one that seems to be played most often is the jamaican style jingle about smoking weed. craig always plays it on fridays, saying its 'for everyone enjoying an 'herbal cigarette' on the weekend'. recently he showed the same jingle, but now with new animated graphics!
parchment time!
in the latest installment of 'the rather late programme with prince charles', where craig ferguson dresses up as prince charles as a late night talk show host, they had a jingle of its own! criag has always read email on his show, which starts with a little jingle. prince charles reads parchments in this skit, and this time when he asked if there was time to read a parchment there was a little jingle saying 'of course theres time for a parchment!' it seemed that craig himself was a bit surprised by this! he exclaimed, after the jingle, 'oh, i didnt even know we had one of those!', and proceeded with the skit.
